How to use your Hatfield Strap
Sit Strap Instructions:
- Place the wide “foot” strap under the leg to be stretched.
- Grasp the handles and pull back allowing the foot and toes to move towards the knee.
- Hold the stretch for 1-3 minutes using a comfortable tension.*
Calf Strap Instructions
- Place the wide “foot” strap under the leg to be stretched with the calf strap just above the widest part of the calf and fasten the two clips together and tighten the strap to create a very snug fit.
- Grasp the handles and pull back allowing the foot and toes to move towards the knee.
- Hold the stretch for 1-3 minutes using a comfortable tension.*
- 4. One can lie back pulling the leg up to achieve an intense hamstring stretch.
Shoulder Strap Instructions
- The Hatfield Strap shoulder strap is placed around the top of one shoulder then under the opposite arm.
- The shoulder strap is then threaded through the handles of either the calf strap or the sit strap and fastened into place.
- The user simply sits back to perform the stretch using the core trunk muscles and leverage allowing the user to expend less effort and relax while performing the stretch.
Stretch only within what feels comfortable, do not overstretch! If there is pain, ease back on the pressure applied. If pain persists, see a doctor for evaluation.
